The processing of your personal data is carried out by the Board of Directors on behalf of the Irish Quarter Horse Association.  The Irish Quarter Horse Association is a not-for-profit organisation that organises and stages educational clinics, social events and the annual National Show.

 

We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining the security of your personal data.  This policy outlines how and why we collect and use personal data.  We want to ensure you are informed and in control of your data.

How will we use this personal data?

 

We use this data to communicate with you about IQHA and AQHA-approved events matters.
Relevant members' details will be published in the entries list on the show roster and redacted information (without addresses) is published in show results online or in print.

 

How did we collect this personal data?

 

You provided it to us when you:

Joined as a member

Became a volunteer

Enrolled in one of our programs such as HELP or POEP or MARS

Agreed to sponsor the Show

Applied for a trade stand on the Show field

Participated in an IQHA and AQHA-approved event

Offered to support our National Show
 

With whom will we share this data?

 

We will NOT sell, distribute or lease your personal data to third parties.
BOD members such as Show management Secretaries and Officers will use this data to communicate with you about IQHA matters.
BOD members abide by the data protection policies and your data will be treated confidentially.

Your Right to Withdraw Consent

 

We will only use your personal data with your permission.  You may withdraw that consent at any time. Our Data Protection Officer is our show secretary. If you no longer wish to be contacted by the IQHA please contact our Data Protection Officer by email at:

Sensitive Personal Data

 

In exceptional circumstances, sensitive personal health data may be collected as part of any accident reporting on the show field.  This information may be shared with our insurance company, in line with our legal and insurance obligations.  If sensitive personal information is collected, we will take extra care to ensure privacy rights are protected.  Such data would only be retained for as long as the law required.

 

Notification of Changes to this Privacy Policy

 

The Irish Quarter Horse Association CLG reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Notice of any change will be posted on this website and will be deemed effective upon publication.
