Fundraising Car Boot Sale – Terms & Conditions
By attending, trading at, volunteering at, or otherwise participating in the fundraising car boot sale organised by The Irish Quarter Horse Association CLG and held at Drumcoura City Equestrian Centre, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Assumption of Risk
All persons attending or participating in this event do so entirely at their own risk. The event takes place on private premises and may involve uneven surfaces, moving vehicles, temporary stalls, and large numbers of people.
2. Indemnity
By entering the premises, each participant (or, in the case of a minor, their parent or legal guardian) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless:
The Irish Quarter Horse Association CLG, its members, directors, officers, employees, event volunteers, representatives, Drumcoura City Equestrian Centre, the landowners, all associated persons or bodies from any and all claims, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from attendance at or participation in the event, save where liability cannot be excluded under Irish law.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, neither The Irish Quarter Horse Association CLG nor Drumcoura City Equestrian Centre shall be liable for:
Injury, loss, or damage suffered by any person
Loss, theft, or damage to vehicles, goods, equipment, or personal property
Accidents or incidents occurring anywhere on the premises
No duty of care is accepted beyond that required by law.
4. Children
Parents and guardians remain fully responsible at all times for the supervision, behaviour, and safety of children attending the event.
5. Traders / Sellers
All traders participate at their own risk and are responsible for:
Their vehicles, goods, stalls, and equipment
Ensuring items offered for sale comply with Irish law
Maintaining their pitch in a safe and tidy condition
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any trader who fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
6. Vehicles
Vehicle movement on site is strictly at the driver’s own risk. Drivers must comply with instructions given by event officials or venue staff at all times.
7. Health & Safety
All attendees must comply with health and safety instructions issued by the organisers or venue staff. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or amend the event due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond their control.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By attending, trading, volunteering, or completing an entry or booking form (including online forms), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
