Thank You for Your Feedback
The Irish Quarter Horse Association would like to sincerely thank every member who took the time to complete our Spring 2026 Member Survey.
Your feedback is invaluable and plays an important role in shaping the future direction of the Association. We are committed to ensuring that member voices remain at the heart of our decision-making process, and this survey has provided us with valuable insight into what matters most to our community.

The strongest message from the survey was how much members value the friendly, supportive, and welcoming atmosphere at IQHA events.
Many members highlighted:
Positive show experiences
Helpful judges and officials
A strong sense of community
A safe and enjoyable environment for competitors
We are proud that these qualities continue to define the IQHA experience.
High Levels of Member Satisfaction
More than 80% of respondents reported being satisfied or very satisfied with their overall IQHA experience.
This strong level of support is greatly appreciated and reflects the commitment of our members, volunteers, officials, and organisers who contribute to the success of the Association.
More Events Across Ireland
One of the most common suggestions was to explore opportunities for events in additional regions throughout Ireland.
Members expressed interest in:
More western venues
More southern venues

Increased opportunities for local participation
As membership continues to grow, this feedback will be carefully considered during future event planning and calendar development.
More Educational Opportunities

Many respondents indicated they would like to see more:

Educational sessions
Coaching and development opportunities
The IQHA will continue to explore ways to expand educational offerings and support members at every stage of their equestrian journey.
Communication Remains Important
Members told us that their preferred methods of receiving information from the IQHA are:
Email
Social Media
We will continue working to ensure that event information, schedules, updates, and announcements are communicated clearly, consistently, and in a timely manner.
Recognition and Awards
Many members expressed interest in increased recognition for participation and achievement, including:
High Point Awards and Buckles
End-of-Year Recognition Programmes
Physical awards and commemorative keepsakes
These ideas are currently being explored as part of future planning and member benefit development.
Our Volunteers Make It Possible
One of the most encouraging findings from the survey was that approximately 74% of respondents indicated they would be willing to volunteer and assist at IQHA events.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has offered their support. Volunteers are an essential part of delivering successful events and helping the Association continue to grow.
